Run Speed and Form Training - Spring/Summer 2017

When: Tuesday 5:30-7:00am

Where: Candy Cane Park

Dates: April 11th - August 15th/17 - Combination of speed intervals and hill strength training.

Details

These training sessions will focus on developing mobility, form, strength, speed for efficient run technique. This will be done through the development of functional running strength, mobility, drills, and intervals to help you sustain great form throughout your run! 

Session Structure

Warm up: 20 min Mobility prep, dynamic stretching, running strength and form drills, and strides

Main Set: 30-40min main set working on endurance, strength, and speed with great form.

Warm Down: 10 mins of strength/mobility

NOTE: In order to provide each athlete with the required attention registration is limited to 20. Therefore, register quickly to ensure your spot!

Important Details: 

In event of extreme weather such as lightening or hail, extreme humidity, snow storm, very cold weather and/or coach illness/or conflict, class will be rescheduled. Coach will notify you by text/email. Make up day and time is at coach’s discretion. There will be no credits or refunds if classes have to be changed or shortened in extreme weather for any reason.

Must have at least 10 people confirmed to run the session
No refunds/transfers/make-ups will be given once you pay your fee’s, regardless of any circumstances. 

If you have not filled out forms for 2017 Please read! You will be required to fill out a Liability Consent form and parq. No forms=no participation! If you answer YES to any question on the PAR-Q you must take the PARQ-PLUS/PAR-MEDX form to your doctor and have them fill it out and sign it. If you are Pregnant, you must take the PAR-PREGNANCY form to your doctor and have them fill it out and sign it. Please let me know in advance if you will have to do this.
