Simple Strength Practical Example
#3/1000
In honour of my friend Jim’s birthday we did a session of simple strength together this morning.
The structure of the session is much like I explained in my last post here.
I asked Jim to roll the dice and see what we get to do…
6 = 8 rounds of following:
6 kettlebell swings (pull movement)
6 tension push ups (push movement)
6 double kettlebell squats (squat movement)
6 double kettlebell high knee marches (torso stability)
Since it was his 52nd birthday we added 4 rounds of kettlebell carries (for balance and stability) to ensure we hit the 52 reps ;).
For resistance we choose a 8-10 rep max kettlebell as the idea is to provide a challenge, yet be able to hold great form on every rep.
With a warm up the entire set took us 20 minutes to complete.
Very efficient and effective way to develop strength.
