Group Cycling (With Run Option) Sessions

Specific cycling and bike-to-run transition training to get you stronger, fitter, and ready to race. Safety vehicle and live coaching for in person sessions.

Saturday Long Group Ride (with optional run off the bike): ~6:30-9:30am* (May 4th - June 29th, 2024 - 8 sessions) - No Session June 8th.

Where: Local Roads Around Regina and Surrounding Area.

NOTE: There will be a safety vehicle supporting the group for all rides. Depending on weather conditions there may be a session done indoors via Zoom. Each virtual session is recorded and will be made available for you to access if you can’t make a session.

Structure:

Coach Patrick will lead you through:

~2-3 hour ride - Coaching strength and endurance intervals, bike handling, long ride nutrition, hydration, and riding technique). Optional 15-20 minute run following the ride.

NOTE: Start and finish times can be varied based on weather conditions and your ability.

Cost:

Saturdays - $170 or $60 monthly (for 3 payments)

Details

Building race specific fitness on the bike is the emphasis of this session. The focus of these sessions will be developing your skill, fitness, pacing, and nutrition and hydrations strategy to the highest level so you are ready to race when the opportunity arises.

Equipment needed -Riders will be responsibile to bring there own bike repair kits, and fuel. Please bring bike, helmet, cycling clothing appropriate for the weather, rear bike light (mandatory), front bike light, bike shoes, running shoes and gear. Must be able to sustain 20km/hr for 3 hours in ideal conditions.

Endurance Journey will provide a structure training session to follow for these rides based on your ability. Safety vehicle will be available for the ride to support the riders.

All riders must be members of the Saskatchewan Triathlon Association for the 2023 season prior to the first session. You can purchase your yearly membership here.

NOTE: In event of extreme weather such as lightening or hail, heavy rain, strong winds (over 40 km/hour) extreme humidity, snow storm, very cold weather and/or power outage, coach illness/or conflict, a virtual training session will be provided with video instruction. Coach will notify you by text/email. There will be no credits or refunds if sessions have to be changed or shortened in extreme weather for any reason.

Must have at least 10 people confirmed to run the session. 

Strength And Mobility Training - BE STRONG. Move Well. Perform Better.

This session is specifically designed to develop your strength, range of motion, and stability using strength and functional movements using Foundation Training and strength training principles to help improve your strength, movement, and performance! Posture, lifting, balancing, flexibility, and stability will be emphasized at every session.

Every session you will be given a movement of the week to practice to help build your strength and movement skill while away from our training time together. These are great sessions to do prior to your main endurance session of the week (swim, bike, run, etc). Each session will be recorded so if you can’t make the schedule session a recording of it will be made available to you.

This is real strength and movement to help you perform in the real world.

When:

Mondays 5:30am-6:10am April 29th - June 24th 2024 (Virtually via Zoom)

Thursdays 5:30am-6:20am May 2nd - June 27th, 2024

No session May 20th, June 6th, June 10th. Recorded follow along video sessions will be sent to your to complete on these days where there are no scheduled classes.

Cost:

Mondays - $63.00 - (for 7 session block) or $24.00 for 3 payments

Thursdays - $72.00 (for 8 session block) or $44.00 for 3 payments
